Winter 2009-10

The Arden Point Bridge in Hudson Highlands State Park was repaired due to the generosity of an anonymous donor.  It is now open and available for a brisk, early spring outing. Enjoy!

Fall 2009

Building Bridges Bridge # 3 in Fahnestock was finished in early November. We gathered on Saturday, December 6th at 9:30 to celebrate the completion of the project thanks to volunteers from FoFHH, NY-NJ Trail Conference, Fats in the Cats, and Putnam Horse Council. They did more than just build a bridge.

Speaking on the Environment: Fred Koontz On October 29, 2009, Fred Koontz talked about the "Hudson Hills and Highlands Bioregion." Our first scheduled Speaker event! This FREE program was jointly sponsored by FOFHH and Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries (BIRE). Place: Center for Environmental Innovation and Education at Denning's Point (part of Hudson Highlands SP), Beacon, NY.
