What is a User Interface

A User interface is, has the name suggests, how a user and a computer interact.

A user interface describes how I/O is done between two systems.

The user does not necessarily need to be a human. It is often another computer program.

Some programs have a Graphical User Interface, or GUI, pronounced (Goowy).

Some programs have a Command Line Interface.
