A Computer is a computational device. You can think of it like a Brain. Both run programs of one sort or another.

The main difference between computers and brains is, computers are digital and brains are analog. Brains are also the product of Evolution. They are made of up living matter. Computers are made of metal and electricity. They are made by humans.

Charles Babbage is considered the Father of Computers. He created the first counting machine made out of cogs and gears back in the 19th Century.

Lady Lovelace, a friend of Babbage, is considered the inventor of Software.
